Language Arts 7

Students should make a table (2 column T-chart) of quotes from chapter 1 of Dust and what those quotes tell us about the character Matthew Steelgate.

Math 7

Students should have come home with a worksheet of pre-algebra questions. This should be completed.

Science 7

Finish chart and questions on page 193 (in handwriting)

Language Arts

Read chapter one for Dust and write summary for chapter one.

Math 7

We continue to work on multiples and factors. A worksheet was givent that must be finished for homework if it was not done in class.

Science 7

Students have been looking at the properties that are used to idntify minerals. We worked on a worksheet. We will have some time next class to complete it, but if students are not completed up to Crystal Structure on the sheet then they should do up to there for homework.

Language Arts 7

Students have written and presented short speaches about themselves. Students were trying to have their speaches as close to 60 seconds as possible. By using this as the criteria it stresses the need to practice and revise speaches.

Math 7

Students have been working on Multiples and Factors.
They should have finished P 24-25 Activities 1-5. Omit all question 2 and 3s.

Students should be able to identify multiples of 2,3,4,5,6,8,9 and 10 using the rules that we developed in class.

Welcome Grade 7 Class

Welcome to my grade 7 class at Dunsmuir Middle School. I am very excited to teach this class full of wonderful students. In addition to my own class I will teach Mr. Spence`s class Science while my class goes to Mr. Spence for Social Studies. If you have any concerns please call the school or email me.
